NOW SUPPORTING EXCHANGE VOLUME DATA IN OUR NETWORK CHARTING TOOL

Coin Metrics is pleased to announce the release of exchange and exchange-asset volume data in our Network Data Charting Tool

Coin Metrics collects trades data in real-time from a variety of exchanges across our market data exchange universe. In order to make this data more accessible for researchers, we aggregate that data into various market metrics, such as volume and open interest

We previously only served this data through our timeseries/exchange-metrics and our timeseries/exchange-asset-metrics API endpoints, but now users can visualize our metrics at the exchange and exchange-asset level directly through our front end.

ASSET METRICS

Our Network Data Charting Tool was first introduced for easy exploration of our network (on-chain data), and last year our coverage expanded to include volume metrics aggregated at the asset level across our exchange universe (see below).

EXCHANGE METRICS

With this new release, users can now go to our Assets > Exchanges section to select specific exchanges. Then by navigating to the Metrics page, users can select our volume metrics to draw comparisons of volumes across their selected exchanges (see below).

EXCHANGE-ASSET METRICS

Users can also go to our Assets > Exchanges-Assets section to select specific exchanges-asset pairings. Then by navigating to the Metrics page, users can select our volume metrics to draw comparisons of volumes across their selected exchange-asset pairings (see below).

HOW TO ACCESS

All users with a Visualization API key can access this data through our front-end tools. However, in order to access this data directly via API, users require a license for Market Data Feed. If you are interested in Market Data Feed please feel free to reach out.
