We’ve received a number of reports from people being contacted by unknown senders claiming to be representing Coin Metrics. These emails often ask recipients for personal information. Examples of information requested via these emails are Full Names, Addresses, Bank Statements, Wire Transfer Confirmations, Bank Account Numbers, etc.

These emails are not from Coin Metrics. Anyone representing Coin Metrics will do so from an @coinmetrics.io email address.
